Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket and the St Louis Rams
The St Louis Rams fan base has expanded throughout the entire united states as people continue to migrate out of the area. Long time fans are often finding themselves outside of city limits and no longer around a city saturated with the horns they have grown so accustom to. Luckily these die hard fans have the ability to watch every Rams snap on Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket. The Sunday Ticket package is exclusive to Direct TV and cannot be found on cable or on Dish Network. Fans across the country are able to come together and follow their team where ever they live.
The St Louis Rams ended last season with a 3-13 record that left St. Louis fans in shambles. Better luck next year? What does the pre-season predict for the Rams? For their 71st season, the St Louis Rams have already signed three free agents including punt kicker Josh Brown, offensive lineman Jacob Bell and tight end Anthony Becht. The NFL Draft brought some more skilled players to the Rams’ roster, most notably Chris Long, who will serve as a defensive end. The Rams had quite a privilege in selecting the #2 overall pick, so the pressure was definitely on. Was Chris Long the best choice? The consensus of fans and experts says yes, since Long and Glenn Dorsey were among the highest rated players in the draft. Long was appreciated for his athleticism as well as work ethic that comes from being a second-generation player. (He is the son of NFL defensive end Howie Long)
Other draft picks included wide receiver Donnie Avery, offensive tackle John Greco, cornerback Justin King State, wide receiver Keenan Burton, offensive guard Roy Schuening, linebacker Chris Chamberlain and linebacker David Vobora. The team did have to make some sacrifices in negotiations, most notably trading Ryan Fitzpatrick. On the other hand, they did get defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedyand and offensive tackle Adam Goldberg in the long run.
The future of the Rams have fans and experts baffled, as everyone said 2007 looks promising, but of course the final record said something otherwise. Their success may be determined by how many injuries continue to afflict the team (such as Steven Jackson, who was injured for most of last year) and how much management decides to focus on defense. So far many experts have the St Louis Rams battling for second place against Arizona. Time will tell how aggressive the rams are this season.
